When you book your vacation package or resort stay with me, my personalized autism-informed travel planning services are included. You might be wondering what that means, how it benefits your family compared to booking on your own, and how I’m compensated. Here’s what sets my services apart:
As a Certified Autism Travel Professional and Behavior Specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting families with autism, I bring more than just travel knowledge — I bring understanding. I personally visit destinations, collaborate with resort and cruise partners, and evaluate their autism accessibility and sensory accommodations. My firsthand experience as both a professional and a parent of children with autism allows me to recommend destinations, properties, and activities that truly meet your family’s unique needs.
From the first quote to your arrival back home, I’m with you every step of the way. I use my expertise to match your family with a destination or resort that fits your sensory, behavioral, and budget needs. Together, we create a travel plan that reduces stress and sets everyone up for success.
Before you leave, I’ll provide visual supports, autism-friendly travel tips, and a detailed itinerary. During your trip, I remain available to assist with any questions or unexpected challenges — because traveling with support makes all the difference.
You’ll receive a customized electronic itinerary including all confirmations, contacts, and travel details, easily accessible via an app or web link. The app also allows us to chat directly, so I’m just a message away before and during your travels. You also can have as much control or as little control as you want over your trip.
I’m paid a small commission from the travel suppliers, resorts, or cruise lines only when I book and your trip takes place — meaning you don’t pay extra for my services. In fact, every supplier already includes an agent commission in their pricing. When you book direct, you’re paying for that service but not receiving the expertise, advocacy, and autism-informed support that comes with booking through me.
Please keep in mind that while I happily provide research and quotes, I’m only compensated when you book your trip through me. If plans change, I completely understand — life happens!
My goal is to make travel not just possible, but enjoyable and accessible for every family — especially those with autism. I’m here to prepare, advocate, and support you through every step so that your family can focus on making memories, not managing meltdowns.
You would also be supporting a small local business at no extra cost to you. Plus all new clients get a thank you gift!
Warmly,
Christine Lutz, Autism Travel Professional & Behavior Specialist
